What does it do?
Imagine you could freeze the state of your entire hardware or hybrid setup while performing, creating or producing—then explore, mutate, distort and intensify your sound, knowing you can always return to your baseline at the push of a button or smoothly morph back with a fader.
That’s Undo Machine.

In this video, I change parameters on the Analog Four, Peak and Bitwig, then switch and morph between the saved sound and my edits. The white Launchpad button triggers Undo and Return; the green fader controls Morph. Button and Morph can be mapped to any MIDI fader, knob or encoder.

Explore
Turn knobs on your synths and adjust controls in your DAW. Undo Machine keeps these edits as B.

Move between A and B
Undo changes to return to A, return to your edits at B, or move smoothly between them with Morph.
Set up your MIDI controller in the app: map Capture and Undo to two buttons, and Morph to a fader, knob or encoder. Then play from your controller without watching the screen. A snapshot can include supported hardware, your DAW, or both. The app’s on-screen controls are available too.

Works with any MIDI controller
Use your controller’s MIDI buttons for Capture and Undo / Return, and a fader, knob or encoder for Morph. No specific controller model is required.
Your controller operates Undo Machine; the synth or DAW you capture still needs a supported integration.
