Terms of use

Undo Machine and its maker
Undo Machine is desktop software made by Gordon Friebe, trading as Primecoder. See the legal notice for contact details. These terms cover your use of the software.
Try it with your setup
Undo Machine runs on macOS with Apple Silicon. Check the supported instruments and DAWs and test your own setup before buying. A catalogue listing does not mean an instrument is supported. Snapshots cover the sound controls described for each supported device; they are not a backup of an entire instrument or DAW project.
The 14-day Full trial starts automatically when you first open the app. No payment card is required, and the trial never charges you automatically. After it ends, a purchase is required for the musical controls. Setup and device contributions remain available.
Full licence
Full is a one-time purchase at the introductory price of US$25, including applicable tax. The final currency and amount are shown before you pay. There is no subscription. The introductory price may change for future purchases.
Your Full licence allows you to use version 1 on up to two of your own computers, including for commercial music work. It includes updates within version 1 and does not expire. New major versions may be separate purchases. Future instrument support or an iOS version is not included as a promised feature.
You may not share or resell your licence or activation details. This does not limit rights that applicable law gives you.
Purchase and activation
Paddle is the authorised reseller and handles checkout, payment, tax and receipts. Your purchase from Paddle is also subject to the Paddle Buyer Terms shown at checkout.
An internet connection is needed to purchase, activate and recover a licence. Once activated, musical controls work offline. Keep your receipt and use the same purchase email when recovering access. If activation is delayed or you have replaced a computer, write to app@primecoder.de with your receipt reference before buying again.
Refunds and your rights
You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. See the refund policy for how to request one. After a refund, your Full licence ends and you must stop using paid access.
These terms do not restrict statutory consumer rights, remedies for defective software or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Use it with care
Save your instrument sounds and DAW project before experimenting. Follow the setup instructions for your exact device and test Undo and Return before relying on them during a performance. Undo Machine cannot restore controls that the connected device does not expose.
